"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: HELLO FROM (Mr. Victor Nwosu.)

Dear Friend,

Please assist us to locate and purchase on our behalf an upstair commercial
shopping complex that we can use for administrative and commercial purpose
to establish African market espeically in the commercial nerve of your
country.

In the light of the above subject, we intend to import Agricultural produce
from Africa to your country.

Note: your field of specialisation does not matter in this project. It is
important to let you know that the fund meant for this business is already
deposited with the Security Company in Europe. However in a bid to establish
legitimacy, we would also seek your consent to present you/your company as a
contractor who executed a contract for the federal government, so as to
enable us secure foreign exchange Approvals for the fund transfer

transfer to your home bank account after which we shall send our investment
Trustees from your country for the inspection of the property and make
payment accordingly.

It is also noteworthy that, upon your service we have agreed to pay you 30%
as your service commission then 5% of any expense that we come up use part
of our capital for the purchase and establishment of the investment program
in yoru country.
All we need is your honestly to enable us see this project through.
Therefore as joint partners, you must guarantee that this will be executed
under the arrangement that will protect both parties from any breach of the
law.
