"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: No news from you why?

Dear Mr Achim,
I am glad to hear from the lawyer that you have received the first
transfer; however, I have not heard from you for two months now--is
anything wrong, no news nothing why?and your phone number is not

working.
At any rate, the second installment of $6.3m is now ready for you to
collect. As we agreed on the phone that you will provide another Bank
account for the balance.
You see Mr Achim, i am fad up with this refugee camp and my kid sister
is sick now we need to live this place as agreed this month and also
remember that you promise to help me if only you received first
payment and the payment is done now for two good months and i have
not hard from you,please don't disappoint me in any way you are the
only hope i have,as for the remaining balance you have to contact the
Lawyer or you can contact me then i will forward your new information
to the Lawyer to file in for the remaining balance.
