"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I NEED WHO CAN HELP ME WITH TRUST

Hello Dear,

My name is James Ekene a Liberian, now staying in
refugee camp dakar senegal. I arrived here during the
crisis (Liberian Civil War) My father Ibrahim Usman
was a military personel during that time, serving in
the army,he died during the crisis 27 August 2003. He
was unlucky to be among those that was killed by other
side rebels troops. Before the death of my mother, my
late father younger brother's planned and killed her
to take away all my late father's treasury and
properties. During that time we were having family
problems, my mother told me that my late father has a
deposit in a fiduciary firm here in dakar senegal, the
sum of Seven Million United States Dollars ($7
000,000.00) As a family inheritance.

The wost part it, they later planned and killed my
brother. Then I deceided to run out to Dakar
Senegal, where the money was deposited, because if I
remain with them, they may kill me one day, their too
heartless. In view of my difficulties and problems in
this Country, I'm so pleased to have found someone
like you I can trust. I am writting this letter with
due respect and heartful of tears,I know we have not
meet ourselves before. I am asking for your
assistance, after I have gone through a profile that
speaks good of you.

And I feel it's highly reputable, that's why I picked
an interest getting across to you in respect of my
disposal. I will be so glad if you can allow me and
lead me to the right channel towards your assistance
to my situation now. As my present situation did not
permit to handle the transaction alone.I'm using this
opportunity pleading you to help me retrieve this
money from the fiduciary firm and transfer it into
your Country pending when I will come and meet with
you in your Country. Please I need your help to claim
and transfer the money out of Senegal, success.

I am expect your response immediately you receive this
proposal.I wait to hear from you soon.

Thanks And God Bless You.

Yours Sincerely,
Anthony ekene.
