"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Merry Xmas Dear Friend!!!

Dear Friend,

Ref: will execution

Please I would like to accost you with a request that would be of immense
benefit to both of us,if we can arrive at a mutual agreement. Been an
executor of WILL, it is possible that we may be tempted to make fortune out
of our client’s situations sometimes when situations goes beyond our
control.
The issue I am presenting to you is about my client who was killed on
Tuesday 10th of February 2004 in the sharja plane crash. It was most
unfortunate that He died along with his only son whom He has WILLED a
fortune to as his next-of-kin.
I am now entangled with the problem of who to pass the fortune to,
According to the British law, the fortune is supposed to be bequeathed to
the government. However, I do not belong to the school of thought which
pre-suposes that the fortune of such circumstances be transferred to the
government treasury.
My purpose of contacting you is to seek your assistance to act as the
benefactor of the WILL, and lay claim to the legacy (12.4million pounds
sterling), which my deceased client had bequeathed to his next-of-kin before
his sudden demise.

It is pertinent that you know that this is only known to me, since my
client has great confidence in me. Everything will be left between you and
me. The share would be 25% for you and 75% for me. All I have to do is to
present you as the next of kin and beneficiary to the 12.4million pounds
sterling.Your cooperation is highly needed for us to make this transaction
a success, which at the end we shall both have reason to smile.

As I await your consent on this issue, I prefer not to divulge my full
identity for security and safety reasons which of course you will agree with
me.However I need not over emphasize the sensitivity of this issue which
of course requires a high level of confidentiality.
Due to the activities of fruadsters now very rampant on the internet,I will
be waiting until I am sure of your consent, and full cooperation . I would
prefer that we maintain correspondence by email.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please you can contact me immediately via my alternate email address:

baristerhenryfredson@excite.com

Yours truly,

Barr. Henry Fredson.
