"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,

I am ONYEMA EBUBE Chairman Federal Audit Committee ( FAC) setup by the present civilian government to look into all contracts awarded by federal/state government ministries and parastatals from 1993 till date.Among these ministries and parastatals are The Federal Ministry of Aviation, Ministry of Work, Ministry of Transport, The Presidency, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Power and Steel, Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),Ministry of Solid Minerals, just to mention but a few. I came to know of you in my search for a reliable and reputable person to handle a very confidential transaction, which involves the transfer of $78.4m (Seventy-Eight Million Four Hundred Thousand USD) to a foreign account.

During one of our investigation, we discovered a financial misappropriation in the Bayelsa State treasury by the state Governor CHIEF D.S.P. ALAMIEYESEIGHA(JP). This facilitated his arrest in London by the scotyard police recently, for further details on Bayelsa State looting visit websites:

Further investigations, revealed that some of the ministries and parastatals over-invoiced most of their contracts and at the sametime paid foreign contractors for contracts not executed/abandoned. Upward scrutiny exposed an over-invoiced contractual sum of $2 ( two Billion USD) floating in the federation account. After due consultations with all paties concerned, the sum of $1,921,600,000 ( One Billion Nine Hundred and Twenty-one Million Six Hundred Thousand USD) was returned to the federal cofers.

With the powers/mandates vested on our committee we unanimously agreed to transfer the remaining sum of $78.4m into a foreign account, as civil servants in my country are restrained by the civil service code of conduct to own a foreign account/company. In view of this, we are soliciting your immediate assistance in providing an account for the transfer of this amount. You are also to foward to me the following details, (Your name, address, phone numbers, fax number office/residence and company name).

Be informed that your assistance will be duely compensated to the tune of 23% of the above sum, while 7% will be used to service any expenses incurred in this transaction by both parties (local/foreign).

Finally, I want you to know that this transaction is expected to be concluded within 7 bank working days from the time you indicate your interest, be notified that further information/details in respect of this transaction will be given to you upon your indication to participate.

Your immediate response is required.

Regards
ONYEMA EBUBE
