"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day to you. It's my pleasure to contact you with this proposal.

I am Mr. Michael Mamba, Director of Contract award and payment of Federal
Ministry of Finance since 1995 to 2003. During this period i secured some
huge amount of dollars USD$20m into our offshore payment centre for my life
investment.

Now, reason why i contacted you is that, the federal government want to
audit our Apex Bank together with all our offshore centre . I need a
reliable and honest person who will be of assistance to claim this said
funds as one of the contractors who executed a contract in our Ministry by
supplying Agricultural Equipment and Electrical Appliance and also computers
to all our ministry.

Please, do let me know if you accept to be of assistance to me on this
mutual transaction. And all information you need to claim this funds has
