Ecowas refugee rehabilitation centers
Abidjan - Cote - D'Voire
January 11th, 2006
To Your kind attention:
My name is Sandra Zongo (Mrs.), I am writing you this mail from ECOWAS Refugee Rehabilitation Camp in Cote - D' Voire. I am a Sierra -Leonian National and the wife of Late Dr. Johnson Zongo.
My late husband was the General overseer of Diamond and Gold Mines in the Kaneina District of Sierra Leon, until April 16th 2001, when the military forces loyal to government of president Ahmed Tejan Kabbah, invaded the Diamond and Gold Mines and Killed my husband, mistaking him for his younger brother Mike Zongo, who is the deputy leader to the rebel leader of the revolutionary United Front (RUF) with Mr. Foday Sankoh. When the news reached me, I hurriedly gathered some valuables in our house and escape with my two kids FRANK & Lynda along with other displaced people to safety. We were eventually picked up in a bush on the 22nd of April 2001 by the Ecomog Soldiers who immediately handed us over to the International Red Cross Society in Freetown, Sierra Leone, the red cross society finally arranged for our safe movement to the Ecowas refugee camp in Cote D Voire.
Presently we are camped in one of the Ecowas refugee rehabilitation centers in Abidjan, and the hope of returning to our home country is not in sight as the war between the government forces and the rebel forces is still going on. Among the valuables was my husband personal file which contained details of a deposit of $30.5 million U.S Dollars which my husband deposited with a Bank in Europe under the influence of a diplomat. Although I suspect this money was illegally made from the sales of gold and Diamond by my late husband when he was the general overseer of the gold and diamond mines in sierra Leone.
Presently as a registered refugee, my movement is restricted beside, I have no access and money to travel to Europe to negotiate for the release of this money, It's under this terrible condition that I solicit your swiftest assistance to help me and my family receive and invest this money legally to preserve our lives.
Upon acceptance to assist me receive and invest our money, I shall link you up with the diplomat so that you can arrange meetings and sign relevant documents before taking you to the bank were the funds is lodge for your assurance. Thereafter you shall instruct the bank to transfer the money into your bank account of your choice in order to channel it into viable business venture for our mutual benefit. For your assistance and investment, I promise to give to you 37% while the balance 63% shall be channel into viable investment for my entire family.
All I need from you is your total cooperation, honesty and assurance that my money will be safe pending my freedom and that you will not abscond with the money or take undue advantage due to my present predicament.
Thanks and God bless as I await your response.
