"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attn: Dear Sir/Ma.

i will like to solicit your help in a business proposal, which is by nature
very confidential and a top secret. I know that a transaction of this
magnitude will make any one worried and apprehensive but I am assuring you
not to worry, as all will be well at the end of this endeavor.I am DR.
HARRISON MILLS by name and an accountant working with.(C.P.S.B) i have
decided to seek your help in transfer of a huge sum of money requiring
maximum confidence

The proposal:
I am an account officer to a foreigner, engineer Smith who was an oil
merchant and contractor with the government of Ingland until his death
onboard with the Swissair Flight 111 , which crashed into the Atlantic off
Nova Scotia in september 7th 1998.was our customer at the Credit Suisse
private banking london. (C.P.S.B) And had a balance of
US$15,500,000.00,(fifteen Million Five hundred thousand Dollars) which the
bank now expects his next of kin to claim as the beneficiary.
I have made valuable efforts to get his people to no avail as he had no

known relatives, due to this development our management and our board of
directors are making arrangements for the funds to be declared unclaimed and
subsequently paid into the government purse. to avert this negative
development i have decided to look for a reputable person to act as the next
of kin to late engineer. Smith so that the funds with interest will be
released and paid into this person's account and this is where you come in.

All documents to aid your claim will be provided by me and for your help, you
will be getting 30% percentage of the total sum as the account owner,60% for
me, while 10% will be for settling of taxation and all local and foreign
expenses. i would want you to furnish me with your full particulars such as
your home and office telephone and fax number including your mobile phone
number so that I can brief you more about the deal on phone. Please be
assured that this transaction is 100% risk and security free and will take a
maximum of 9-12 working days. As well, you can call or reach me through this
alternative email (drharrisonmills@yahoo.com)
