"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Zimbabwe on land policies.

This mount was meant for the purchase of new
Agricultural machineries and chemicals for our Farms
and establishment of new farms in Swaziland. This land
problem came when Zimbabwean President Mr. Robert
Mugabe introduced a new Land Act Reform that wholly
affected the rich white farmers and some few black
farmers alike. This resulted to the killing and mob
action by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in
the society during political elections in my country.
In fact a lot of people were killed because of this
Land reform Act of which my husband was one of the
victims.

As we reach here peacefully, and meet the unstable
political crisis here in Cote d'Ivoire, I and
my son took a decision to relocate this box that
contain this money, and escauss authority of the
security company where this box is being deposited and
came to a compromise to move the box Out of this
country, on request we shall send to you the deposit
receipt with the legalisation document that was issued
to my husband. The documents is to prove the reality
of my offer and the honest of I and my only son
BENJAMIN.
