"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Cocoa exporting board until his death.He was assassinated last February by
the rebels following the political uprising here in my country Cote d'
Ivoire.Before his death he has a consignment here in Cote d'Ivoire up to the
tune of six million dollars $6.million this money is contained in a metalic
box.
He decleared it as a family valuable for export.This fund was meant for the
importation of cocoa processing machine. I want you to do me a favour to
stand for me
and my only brother as a foreign partner to my late father,so that the
security company will release this box to you and transfer it to you in your
country via their deplomatic courier services. while i come down to meet you
for your guidians and also help me invest this fund in your country.For
security reasons my father made an agreement with the security company that
only his foreign partner has the right to claim the box, this is why i have
contacted you to assist me.My father decleared that non has the right to
claim the box from the security company except his foreing partner for
security purposes.
I am really hoping on you regarding the investment as am a small girl and
dont know anything about investment in your country. This is my reason for
writing to you. Please if you are willing to assist me indicate your
