"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: A Plea For Help

Attention:

A Plea For Help
Please, excuse my intrusion into your privacy. Really, it is not my
intention to encroach into anyone's
privacy but I had to do this because I am in dire straits and urgently need
assistant from a capable hand.
My name is Mrs. Hilda Danlopa, the wife of Francis A. Danlopa, who was
abducted by President Robert
Mugabe's thugs and murdered him in a cold blood over the land dispute of
Zimbabwe.

Prior to my husband's death, he was in partnership with a white farmer, Mr.
Peter Sivertsen who also met
his untimely death the same month that my husband was killed in his farm in
Zimbabwe.

My late husband was among the few black Zimbabwean rich farmers murdered in
cold blood by the agents
of the ruling ZANU-PF government of President Robert Mugabe for his alleged
support and sympathy for the
Zimbabwean opposition party controlled by the white minority.

Before my husband's death he had taken to United Kingdom and deposited the
sum of US$ 26.5 Million
(Twenty Six Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) with an
underground security
warehouse and the 210kg of Alluvial Gold Dust of 22 Karat + /92% purity was
also deposited with a
security company in the Ivery Coast, sensing the looming danger in
Zimbabwe. This was made possible
with an exceptional agreement.

The land crisis that claimed my husband's life arose when President Mugabe
introduced a new "land act"
that wholly affected the rich white farmers, while very few blacks
unanimously condemned the illegal and
primitive policy adopted by the government. This resulted to rampant
killing and maiming of unsuspecting
white minority and their black acquaintances by the war veterans and some
political thugs.

Owing to this hostility, quite a number of white minority farmers and their
black acquaintances have been
gruesomely murdered. This incidence has received both local and
international condemnation, especially
from the western countries and yet the defiant President Mugabe is still
less perturb and fully in control.

We are faced with the dilemma of investing this money in Africa as
President Mugabe is bent on
frustrating the minority farmers; hence I resolved to search for a reliable
business oriented person who can
help us invest these funds.

My problem is compounded with the fact that I am incapacitated with
President Mugabe's act of terrorism.
For your assistance, I will offer you a good reward if you agree to help me
out. You may contact my son also on
his box to work out ways to assist us. His email address is:

Cordially,

Mrs. Hilda Danlopa
