"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I must first and foremost thank you for your reply and infact your accepting to help me in this mutually benefiting transaction and I do hope you are trust worthy enough to remit the part that belongs to me after you must have claimed the huge sum from the bank.

A total sum of US$8.5M Dollars is involved. I will want you to realise that this whole thing is legal and 100% risk free, I am employing your acumen as an oversea partner, to enable me actualise the safe receipt of the sum because not everybody can be honest enough to make accurate return of such a colossal sum of money to its real owner. I believe I am being directed by divine persuasion and I do hope that you will not fail me.

I want to categorically make it clear to you that you will not be required to pay any money of yours to me or to anybody to ensure that this transaction meets with success, all that is required from you is to lodge the check into your account as soon as you receive it and once the check clears you remove your percentage and send the balance to me.

The benefits is well spelt out, as the beneficiary, you are entitled to 10% of the total sum , Your liability is just the time inconveniency. The whole business is risk free. Your Payment is for helping me to collect the money safely and being honest enough to remiting my part to me, not everybody can do this.

I want you to send me your mailing address where you wish to receive the check so that I can forward same to the contractor to enable him mail the check to you as soon as possible . Please the contractor is going to be sending you the money in bits he cannot send the whole money once, do also let me know whether you already have an existing account or you are going to open a new one, if you are going to open a new one I will advice that you open the new account with Welsfargo Bank.
