Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Dear beloveth in christ,
I am Rev.Mathew Uzo:the founder and the general overseer of DOMINION CITY,a
pentecostal church that use to be in my country Nigeria befor it was closed
down by me due to some reasons that i can't explain in this mail.My spirit
is filled as am writing you this mail,for the Lord has directed me to
encourage you in this challenging work of faith.
Working for the lord has been a glorious,miraculous and also challenging
task for me.I left the ministry on february 16,2005 due to some reasons that
are personal to me.Nevertheless am still a servant of God and still beleives
in the saving of the souls.The lord in his mysteriuos ways has called me
back to help in the fulfilment of the total devotion and commitment shown to
his kingdom by late Mr/Mrs JOHNSON Williams,a british couple that lived in
my country Nigeria for many years and was also full devoted members of my
church.
They died in the plane crash that happened 2004, last tow years.They had no
child nor any close relation,atleast none to my knowledge befor they died.It
was last year october 2005 that their lawyer informed me of the WILL they
left befor they died and in their WILL they dedicated half of their wealth
to my ministry and the other half to all the motherless babies in my
country.When i got to know of this i knew it was not going to be an easy
task for me since i have left the ministry and to be sincere i was tempted
to convert this money to myself for my personal use but thank God for his
grace that helped me to overcome.
I went into fevernt praying and fasting and during my prayers the lord
revealed to me that the onlything i had to do since i have left the ministry
was to find a true foriegn beleiver or church that will use this fund for
his works.I then asked the lawyer to sell the half that was assigned to my
church:this half included two Estates and one fuel station.He sold
everything and was able to realize $25,000,000(twenty five million us
dollars).
I collected the money from him but i know that niether my house nor the bank
was the right place for me to keep this money and for the fact that i will
be transfering the money to the chosen church or minister abroad,i then
packaged the fund in consignments and deposited it with a security company
in my country.I registered the content of the consignments as Gold bars
because i know it will be better if the management of the security company
does not know the actual content of the consignments.
Finding your address was not that easy for me,fasting and praying was
involved and for the lord to help in ending my obligations to this money i
found your address as i was browsing through the christian site on the
internet and i have contacted you as a fellow believer to inform you of this
responsibility and to know how willing you are in using this fund for the
kingdom of God.I have notified the Security Company where I deposited the
consignments that contained the fund that I am moving the consignment abroad
and the security company has since been waiting for my authority for the
consignment to leave my country and move to abroad. So if you know that you
will use this fund honestly for things that will glorify God's name, then do
urgently contact me back and the details will be given to you on how you
will be able to receive the fund in your country through the security
company. You should also forward to me your telephone and fax number for
easy communication and to fax you the documents concerning the consignments.
Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
