"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

DEAR WILLEM.


I am highly esteemed, to write you this very urgent letter. I am Barrister
Iky peters, a Solicitor and Personal Attorney to Mr. Fredrick Willem
national of your country, who before his death was a contractor, with
Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company {NLNG}. On the 21st April 2000, my
client his wife and their two Children were involved in a car accident along
Abuja-Kaduna Express Road. Both of them unfortunately lost their lives.
Since then I as the Personal Attorney of the deceased had made several
inquiries to locate any of my clients extended relative but this has proved

issued me a notice as the attorney to the deceased to provide the Next of
Kin or have the account confiscated within the Next 21 official working days
since I have been unsuccessful in locating the relatives for over the years
that I have been searching. On this other, I seek your consent to present
you as the Next of Kin to the deceased since you bear the same surname like
him, as the bank is ready to listen to you provided you have the full
information of the account which I will give to you immediately you agreed
to assist me, so that the proceeds of this bank account valued at USD19M
(Nineteen Million Dollars United States Dollars) can be paid out in your
favour.

As a Barrister, I secure all the necessary legal documents that will be used
to back up the claim . All I require from you is your honest co-operation to
enable us seeing this deal through. I guarantee that this transaction will
be executed under a legitimate banking arrangement that will protect you
from any breach of law. I have agreed to give to you 40% for your
assistance, while 60% will be for me. Please forward your telephone number
preferrable your mobile number to enable me call you for more clarification
on this transaction on your acceptance to cooperate with me while I assure
you of a risk free transaction.
