"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dearest one,

Please kindly permit this opportunity to bring to your person why I am writing
you this mail, honestly speaking you will be wondering why on earth I?m
bothering you but it?s just that my situation is beyond redemption, its
only a god fearing person that will give me a listening ears, I am in dire
need of your urgent assistance, please try and do your possible best to
see how you can assist me in this my sincere approach, when I came to this
country, it was for a purposed I mean Ivory Coast in West Africa, you can
imagine someone leaving her country a war torned country Angola to go to
where there's civil war going on, which I believe you're aware of what I?m
talking about, to cut the matter short, before the death of my beloved father
Dr Joana Savimbi, he revealed a secret to me which I?m about to share with
you.

He told me in the hospital cabin, before his death,to go to his save in
the house in his upper office, which we had never entered before, and bring
him his dairy which I rushed to get for him, he open it and shown to me
a contact in Abidjan,(Ivory Coast) and also some documents that I saw my
name on it, after 48 hours he was gone, So when I arrives Ivory Coast, I
called that contact number on my father's dairy it was a Lawyer, he invited
me to his office for 4 hours discussion, to break matter short, the lawyer
told me in details, that my father had some deposits in a trust security
company here in Abidjan, (Cote d' Ivoire) that was registered with my name
and that I was made next kin to that deposit.he gave me the instruction
on how I can claim those two trunk boxes.

I am about to tell you the inheritance my late father left for me as his
next of kin, rightnow my life is in danger as a result of me been the next
of kin to this inheritance, my step mother is after my life, so pls. dear
if you really want to help me, pls. let me know, I really want you to show
me that you are capable of helping me relocate to your country, I have alot
to share with you, you will never regret standing by me, and moreover I
believe you must be a Christian makes it very nice for me to trust you,
pls. dear kindly believed that it was God that directed you to come and
rescue me from this my bad situation.
Let me quickly outline to you why I?m contacting you.

1. I am not financially buoyant to follow up this transaction process,

2. You will have to assist me financially in procuring the needed documents
that will enable the Trust company accept you as co-beneficiary to the said
trunk box.

3. From the total sum I have set aside 5% for any expenses you are going
to incurred as per helping me retrieve the said trunk box, while 15% is
for your acceptance to be part of this transaction.

4.Please if you are Ok with my proposition, please do endeavour to reply
soonest, so that I can quickly liase you with the lawyer.

I want to let you know in details what you have to do for me as per my inheritance,
