"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear VICTIMNAME

Sir,

I am so sorry to approach you this way without knowing you prior to this day but I implore you to please read this mail as a request from a friend in need of your assistance.

I am Prince L. M. Dokubo, the second son of chief Abel Dokubo the Igwe of Ogoniland Bayelsa state in eastern of Nigeria, My father was the traditional ruler of our land (Ogoni Community). He was killed following his role as a rebel leader against the past government of Nigeria.

We are three sons and one daughter and among all I am the second son, according to our tradition, when a man dies every of his sons have the right to benefit from the he's (the father,s) wealth but due to the fact that my senior brother the eldest is from a different mother, he took that as an advantage to claim the companies and other of our father's properties all alone.

He did all these because he is from a different mother, as a matter of fact his mother was the first wife of our father. For fact that the tradition of our land demands that when a King or traditional ruler dies the first son takes over from him.

But as God have it, while I was schooling, my father called me secretly and told me everything I felt I needed to know about him why because I was very close to him than his first son. For the fact that my step brother was not educated and does not want to be, our father then decided that I should be handling all his companies as soon as I'm through with studies, he also presented me to his personal attorney who is in charge of the affairs of the family and that of his investments.

So from the day the news of this our meeting with the Attorney got to my stepbrother's hearing till now peace has never rained in our family. My stepbrother consulted our family members who summoned our father and myself for peace meeting. After the meeting they blamed our father for his actions saying that my senior brother is the eldest and deserve to be in charge of our father's properties as the law of our tradition demands.

So I went back to school only to be called back by our father after few weeks. He took me to Accra Ghana where he deposited two silver trunk boxes containing the sum of 15,000,000USD (fifteen million united states dollars) he also handed over to me the whole documents of the deposited funds and said "My son, I know it is not going to be easy for you to cope with your step brother when I'm no more, but with this you will begin a new life with your sister" He also told me that the money was his share of the money from the land our community sold to one of the oil companies in 2003.

Unfortunately he died few months after our visit to Accra Ghana. There was a big problem in community of who will succeed him as the next Igwe which eventually my stepbrother won the heart of everybody and became the next Igwe after our father. He tried severally to assasinate me when he discovered our late father settled me while he was alive but failed. ThingS became so bad that I could no longer stand his and his mother's threats,my junior sister and I have to run to south Africa where we are presently for our dear lives.

Please I will like you to assist us in clearing and transfering this funds to your country for onward investment,as we will like to live and invest this funds in your country. We are ready to offer you 20% of the total sum.Further details will be made known to you about the lifting of this funds legally to your Bank Account upon the confirmation of your interest in this
project.

Please do get back to me through this my private box (fra_wllmsi@yahoo.com) also be kind enough to furnish me with your direct telephone and fax numbers for further details.

Regards
Prince L. M. Dokubo
