"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.

Position: PROGRAM AND LIAISON COORDINATOR

Description
The Program and Liaison Coordinator (PLC) is a member of USA's Asia
Regional Management Unit (ARMU). The ARMU is headquartered in USA, with the
Program and Liaison Coordinator based in the Atlanta office. S/he leads the
Atlanta sub-team and assists the Regional Director in providing support to
the eight US Fund For UNAIDS led offices in Asia, as well as seven offices
led by ICR Australia and ICR Canada. Responsibilities include: building and
maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
participating in emergency response in the region; assisting with financial
management; and supervising the ARMU Program Advisor. S/he represents ARMU
at the headquarters level and works closely with the program, finance, human

Position: EMERGENCY FOOD PROJECT MANAGER

Description
The Project Manager (PM) has the overall responsibility for the planning,

Position: MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER

Description
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, will provide technical support in the
implementation of the Basic Education Program's overall M&E system that will

program's Performance Monitoring Framework. The M&E Officer will be the

Description

Position: MEDICAL COORDINATOR

Description
The primary responsibility of the Medical Coordinator is to coordinate the
medical and training activities of the assigned funded programs and provide
medical expertise and guidance for the medical personnel in the projects.
Work closely with the Country Director to determine the medical and training

Description

Description
