"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Prince Joel Jackson, a Liberian nationale residing in Ghana refugee camp. After the death of my father i decided to join the Ghanian flight during their evacuation exercise so i decieded to look for a reliable and trustworthy foreign partner for assistance.
Meanwhile, i want you to keep this transaction secrect for trust sake. Last month my family lawyer in Accra Ghana came to me in the camp with affidavits and documents showing that my father has deposited three consignment of precious items which contain the sum of $ 18 MILLION USD. Now for God sake i will want you to assist me so that i can transfer this fund to your country so as to invest and live a new life in your country because we AFRICAN are sitting on a timed bomb which is not conducive for investment now. Sir, if you can help me 20 percent of the money will be for you while 5 percent has been set aside for miscellenious expense moreover,i will want you to get back to me through Email.
