"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day, I am making this contact with you based on trust and confidence I have for you irrespective of the fact that we have not met before, after going through your profile from your country trade journal, I decided to unfold my investment plan to you of which I am convince as to solicit for your assistance and support.

I understand quite well that this message will sound so strange to you but it is a very serious matter that we need to tackle together very urgent.

My name is Mr. John De Mabior Garang Jr , nationality of Southern Darfur region of Sudan. My father, Dr. John De Mabior Garang, former sudanese rebel leader and First Vice-President of Sudan until his death on 30th of July 2005. He was killed in a helicopter crash on his way returning from an official trip from Uganda just three weeks after he was appointed as first vice president Sudan in a new government of national unity .

As most people in Sudan knows very much that my late father was killed by some opposition leaders in the present Goverment and all feared now that the war which has taken the lives of many people for the past 21 years now, of which my late father was able to fought for peace in the country and was able to brought peace back into the Country before this sad event, Now as people believed that my late father was killed by some wicked politicians in the Country, that the war might broke up the second time.

In short, at the present I am in the possession of US$15.5M united state dollars which I inherited after the death of my father. Right now I am needing your urgent co-operation to secure and invest this money into your company or any vaible private business venture in your country which will be under your name and management control.

I will like to inform you that before the untimely death of my father, he was able to safegaurd this fund through a diplomatic process free of custom/immigration check to Bangkok- Thailand for investment due to the present political stranble in my country, but he could not live to realise his dream since death is inevitable.

However the reason why I need to invest this funds now is to enable me and my family have a peaceful rest of mind regarding the safety of the funds and due to some reasons.

Presently, I have just arrived here in Bangkok along with my age mother and we have been granted political asylum under the protection of United Nations High Commission for refugee. Also I have certified the existence of the fund in the security vault with all the appropriate document of the fund in my possession as the next of kin/ beneficiary of the fund. But I am faced with the dilemma of investing this fund here in Thailand due to thier foriegn policy does not allow such investment asylum seekers due to my status here in Thailand.

The above situation prompted my decision to solicit your co-operation to assist me move this fund into your custody for my proposed investment as you will be adequately compensated with 20% of the total fund or better still commit it into a joint venture project.
