"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Suit 11, Elephant House, Maryland

Lagos State - Nigeria.

Dear Sir,

I am Barrister David Ekenwa of Greenhills Chambers & Associate. I am the personal lawyer to the late Mr. Morris Thompson and he was an oil merchant with vestment in the leading oil in Africa. He invested in lifting oil from Niger Delta in Nigeria to other countries where he sales it. He was the highest shareholder in Shell Petroleum Bp in 1994. Mr. Morris Thompson met his untimely death On January 31 aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 261, which crashed into the Pacific Ocean not far from Los Angeles, while returning from a business trip. I was contacted as his lawyer by the Board of Directors of Shell Bp to look for the relative of late Mr. Thompson to enable them transfer the accumulated share dividend of his investment with the Diamond Bank of Nigeria Limited.

I made some research about the relatives of Mr. Morris Thompson and discorvered through some DNA reports that some other two passengers in the same plane happend to be his wife,Thelma Thompson and only daughter Sheryl Thompson who also died along with him in the crash. Go through the website hereinafter for your perusal.

I am contacting you so that both of us can reach an agreement to enable you act as his next of kin and claim the fund. Of course they will believe me because I am his personal lawyer untill his death and I have all his business documents with me. I would have use someone from here in Nigeria for the purppose but the fact that late Mr Morris Thompson is a white man made it impossible for me to present a black man as his next of kin which of course, the bank will not honour.

All the document will be validated in your name and shall be drafted by me to include your name in an application which be forwarded to the bank for the claims. The money is just USD18.2Million dollars. I will personally monitor the progress of the transaction as your lawyer. After we succeed in transfering the money into your account, we will give some portion of the money to charity home in your country and here in Nigeria and then share the remaining in the ratio 60% to 40% between you and I.

If you are willing to work with me in this regard, please, forward to me through this email address: ekedavid112@yahoo.com.hk

1) Your full name and contact address

2) Your phone and fax number ( cell phone)

Thanks and God bless you.
