"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good day,

My name is Omar Benhard, the Head of the Organizing Committee of just concluded Egypt 2006 MTN Africa Cup of Nations hosted and won by Egypt.

I have an urgent financial business proposal, myself and Viken Djizmedjian, Director of Planning for the tournament’s organizing committee discovered that during the budgeting and sponsoring of the tournaments by MTN and other respected companies across Africa, the sum of US$7.3m (Seven Million Three Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) was not touched and it was intended for the suppose of Renovation and Expansion of the Cairo International Stadium. Due to the time limit of the tournament, the contract was not signed and so the money has been moved to Europort ABN AMRO Private Banking N.V. Europort Gibraltar in a suspense account.

Forgive me for not providing you all the bank details of where the fund is deposited, I will only do that after confirmation that you will stand on our behalf to claim the fund immediately. Please treat this information with utmost secret and confidential.

I Omar Benhard and Viken Djizmedjian has agreed to offer you 25% of the fund as soon as the transaction is successful.

What is required of you is your full corporation so that further information can be passed to you.

Please note that this is a serious financial business proposal as we want to move this fund urgently since both of us is aware of this fund.

I await your urgent reply if only you are interested.

Yours sincerely,

Omar Benhard.
