"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend.

First let me use this medium to introduce myself. I am Mr. VALENTINE FUNE from KONO district north of Freetown SIERRA LEONE West Africa from the family of late SIR MILTON FUNE the FIRST PRIME MINISTER OF SIERRA

LEONE who was my great grand father. MY late father DR JULIUS SPENCER FUNE before his death held a very sensitive position in PRESIDENT TEJAN KABBAHS government in SIERRA LEONE.

My father has a bullet shot by the rebels, west side boys, on his way to LUISA a border town between Sierra-Leone and Liberia. He was later conveyed to Abidjan LA- COTEDIOVRE for a medical treatment where he later died. In the hospital bed my father revealed to me that he had two metallic boxes deposited with a trust and finance house in ACCRA GHANA,

containing ($29,000,000.00) TWENTY NINE MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS.As he saidall the money are in Hundred Dollar Bill. Nobody in the trust and finance house knows the real contents of the metallic box since he

wisely declared them as artifacts from the national museum.

Since the death of my father the rebel has held us hostage until the recent intervention of the UNITED NATION SECRECTARY GENERAL MR KOFI ANNAN whom secure a peace agreement with the rebels that led to our release.

Those released were moved to a refugee camp in Guinea. Circumstances made it possible I had to migrate to Ghana with my mother, seeking your help and assistance to come to my aid.We are now in another refuge camp in Ghana and my mothers health keeps deteriorating. I propose that you

stand as my late fathers foreign partner, so as to get the metallic boxes out of the trust and finance house, transfer it to your country where we can make use of it in a lucrative business investment in your

country.

All you need to do is to fly down to Ghana meet with me, see the money and talk about the transfer. We have made necessary contact to ensure smooth transfer. You need to keep this matter confidential and this

business has no risk on yourpart at all. We offer you 20% for your assistance.

We can get this matter through with, only with foreign participation.

Hoping to hear from you.

Regards,

Valentine Fune
