"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: DEAR CHOOSEN ONE.

I have a new email address! You can now email me at: christ_the_hope_church@yahoo.co.uk

Dear Sir/Madam; Calvary Greetings to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Amen).

I am sorry to have to bother you with this mail. It's because of the nature of this

Request is urgent. I got your contact through the trade and commerce from your country who recommends you as trust worthy, reliable person to do business with hence my contacting you. I am sending this email to you as a friend knowing that you are reliable and consistent person; at least if you can help young Timothy, whose father died in Congo as a result of communal war, or recommend someone like you, trustworthy, reliable and honest partner to assist him in his present dilemma. I will be very grateful.

Just recently, Security Company officials made a visit to our Church

Premises where I happen to be the pastor of the church and demanded to see

One member of our church. As an elder in the Church and a man of God,

I was privileged to attend the first meeting between young Timothy and the visiting officials from the Security Company.

The outcome of the meeting resolved rounds an orphan in our church whose parents died in rivalry war. According to the story, Timothy Kanbalo flew Republic of Congo and came to Ghana for shelter. We were made to understand that Timothy’s father once a businessman in Ghana and mining investor deposited 2 metallic trunk boxes and unspecified quantity of diamond with “Allied Security Company” in Ghana way back, 1999.

The visiting officials demanded Timothy to make a visit to their business

Office to verify documents attested to the existence of these items which

He did. After the initial visit, it was resounding success for young Timothy to

Discover his father’s consignment deposited with Security Company awaiting claims.

At the record time, we cannot ascertained the true worth of the diamond,

But the consignment deposited valued the sum of $9,534,650.00(USD)

Respectively with a clause that surviving beneficiary should claim

This to foreign country to invest in stocks and estate business

Accordingly or sought for foreign partner to assist in claiming the consignment.

Also, part of the clause accompanying the consignment stated that receiving

Beneficiary, should be compensated with 15% while also the receiving

Beneficiary will assist the surviving beneficiary to settle logistics and

Immigration problems while repatriating the consignment/funds and the diamond

To the recipient’s (your) country of origin.

After several visit to the Security Company, I have been appointed to

Accompany young Timothy with the Consignment to your country upon receipt

Of your email response that you are willing to assist us to receive the

Consignment in your country. We are ready to give you your 15% as stated in the clause and as a man of God I am giving my promise that I will make sure you get your compensation without any delay as soon as the business done in your country.

Please, we are begging you to make this a personal matter as we don’t want

The members of our church to know we are contacting outside beneficiary to

Assist us. The only thing we required of you is to stand in as the foreign partner and contact the security company and make the claim or contact young Timothy's Lawyer who will brief you on the requirements needed to make the claim. Timothy father appointed lawyer can be contacted on this telephone number +233-243-432-441(Barrister Michael Ngozi).

Kindly forward your email and telephone number and I will be speaking with

You as soon I receive your reply.

Pastor Elijah.
