"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Mr Josephe Obim i got your contact on my
search for a God fearing personality to assist us in
transfering and investing our family money. Sir i need
an assistance from you to transfer and invest my
family money in your country,the total money is ( 6.5
million U.S DOLLARS) with some vital documents that
cover many of his properties. and this money is
deposited in a security and finance company here in
Senegal from where i was writing to you now,and was
deposited by my late father who sudenlly hapened to be
among the Tsunami disastar on the 26th 0f December
2004 in sri-lanka, that claimed the life of my
family(My two younger sisters,My father and my
mother).My fathers best friend bring me down to
Senegal and intrduce me to the finance company where
the money(6.5 U.S Million Dollars)where kept under my
name as a next of kin. I need your assistance as my
foriegn partner whom this money will go into his
account,if you can assist me, please do reply to my
mail so that i will furnish you with details. I have
trust in you as a man who fears Amighty God and has
respect for human feelings. For your assistance in
helping to transfer and investing this money ,we have
maped out and agreed to give 20 percent persent of the
total money for your assistance and 5 prcent for the
expences that may comes out of it. I am sorry i have
not done this transaction before and i hope you will
not utilze this chance to made away with this money as
soon as it offset into your acount. As a young man, i
have no idea of this transaction but promise to keep
this untill we are through. I will also as k that if
you can come down to Senegal so that we can do this
transfer face to face.then i can go back with you to
continue my Education in your country. I await for
