"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Urgent Message from Rev. James Peter

Greetings,
I am Rev. James Peter, an Executor of the WILL of Late Bishop Benson Idahosa,he stipulated in his WILL that some certain amount of money should be given to some churches and Christians who have shown their zeal and will for the propagation of the Gospel.
As an executor of the WILL,I have conducted a search and made money available to those listed in the WILL, but up till now about 3 of them have not come up to collect their funds either they are dead or cannot be traced till this day.
I am contacting you on trust, to stand as one of the beneficiaries so that the funds that have not be claimed can be release to you and then, I will come over for sharing. The total amount is Six Million, Four Hundred United States Dollars ($6.4, 000,000.00).The documents of deposit and claim will be processed in your name to reflect you as the new beneficiary so that you will be eligible to claim the fund.
Can you help? Are you trustworthy? Are you capable of handling this money?
The condition of the transaction will be based on negotiation between us. Kindly respond on receipt of this mail indicating your interest. Your prompt response will be highly appreciated. Thanks and God bless you for your kind attention.

Yours sincerely,
Rev. J. Peter
