"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please i am James Erim a native of Sierra Leone.Please i want to tell you
something about my life and inheritance. My late father deposited some huge
amounts of money ($10.5 million) in a finance and security company here in
Accra-Ghana for safe keeping, he got the money from his businesses he
exported cocoa and also sold Gold, before the outbreak of the crisis in my
region before he was shot along with my mother and sister who died
immediately and he died three(3) days later. On deposit to the company he
declared the content of the cosignment as family treasuries so even the
security company does not know that content of the box is money.

I am just telling you due to the fact that you i want you to help me, as i
am writing you this email i have the legal documents which my father gave to
me before death and now i have handed over them to a Government Accredited
Attorney here in Accra-Ghana for safe keeping because i stay at the refugee
camp. I am even sending you this email from a small internet cafe that is
close to the refugee camp,i am staying there not living well, please i want
you to help me retrieve and invest this funds, as soon as the funds gets to
you i will give you 20% of the total funds for your kind help and you will
help me invest this funds till i come over to join you and continue my
education the thing is that the money is not my problem i just want to have
you as my new parent help me retrieve and invest this funds till i come and
continue education since i am still young.

The attorney here has the documents he will assist us as soon as i present
you as my beneficiary, he gave me his contact telephone number please if you
will help me then call him now on his number 00233-242-189787 and tell him
that you are from me and that you want to help me retrieve and invest my
funds and that you have known me for sometime because he said that i should
not disclose this issue so that nobody will want to hurt me like they hurt
my family, please call him so that he will assist you for the claims. May
God help you as you help me i plead.
