"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: DETAILS OF THE TRANSACTION

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your mail and acceptance to help me in this transaction. I will
be very glad if we can work as real partners to see that everything went
well because without your total dedication and full cooperation we cannot
achieve this aim within the specified time.

Meanwhile, the consignment(one metal Trunk Box) containing the funds is
still with the security company here in south africa and so after my lawyer
went for enquries on how it can be claimed,
we found out that a foreign beneficairy must be presented as the beneficairy
because my father
deposited it with an open beneficairy to his foreign business partner whom
shall come up anytime for the claim.

So since i cannot be able to claim it and again with my little knowledge i
then had to contact you so that you will stand in as the foreign beneficairy
to enable the security company release the consignment to you for the
benefits of us. Infact the sole handling of this transaction will have to be
between you and my lawyer but you will only be giving me update informations
on the position of things.

Moreover, before we proceed in this transaction, i will need your full names
and address, your private
telephone/mobile and fax numbers including the country and city code.Your
exact date of birth and your profession were also needed.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Best Regards,

Mrs Rose Nkono
