Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

of a Sickle Cell Disease in Nigeria.
The research has since been concluded (specifically in August 2002).
Of the total amount given to us for the research purposes we only expended
US$60.5 Million leaving a balance of US$35.5 Million.

own use. We have put in over 25 years of our lives into working for the
government and as academics we do NOT have anything to show for it,hence
this opportunity we see as a God-Sent one.
