"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello Armstrong,
It is nice to read from you once again. My telehone number is mobile but you
can as well reach me on a landline phone number" 234-1-4763851 for
discussion.

All that is required of you is that, you should help act as the new
beneficiary/receiver of the boxes containing the cash so that you can lay
claim on it from the company that it was deposited. I have the deposit
certificate issued to me when the boxes were deposited to the vault of the
company in cotonou, republic of benin and I shall forward it to you upon
your request. You will need to your your full names, address and telephone
number to me as this will enable me to submit your name to the admistrative
office of the company as the new and rightful beneficiary to the boxes after
which you can be able to claim the boxes.

To make you less curious, we have made all arrangement of logistic to help
ship the funds out of Africa to the company affiliate company offshore
through Diplomatic means.

In actualizing this, we have agreed to give you 25% of the total amount.
Please let me know your willingbess to forge ahead with me in good faith so
that we can proceed in earnest towards completing the transaction because
all modality for hitch free process have been put in place.

I wait to have your opinion, you can as well give me a call as this will
indicate your interest and seriousness in executing the transaction with
good faith, trust and honesty.
