"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RESPONSE IN FULL

Dear Sunnild Cochran,

Thanks for your response mail and the contents were well noted.

Well South Africa is a country in the region of African continient, You
should know about this country because it is a well known country all over
the world. If you want to send a fax you can do that by dialing the the
country code and the telephone number. Like now you can send me a fax like
this:+27-11-642-3316.

Meanwhile, since you dont like lawyers, i dont really know how we can do
about the transaction because it was the lawyer that will help us to prepare
the change of ownership of the consignment in your name thereby making you
the beneficairy of the consignment. So you see that we must need the service
of the lawyer in that aspect.

Moreover, the word consignment means a metal trunk box. It was inside this
box that the money was packaged into. So we normally termed it Consignment
for security reasons. I hope you now understand the meaning of that.I am
equally happy that you will want your share of the money given to the
charity since you are comfortable with what you have already. So all that
will be possible after the conclusion of the transaction.

Therefore, for us to start off in the transaction, i want you to send to me
your full names and full address, your private telephone/mobile and fax
numbers including your country and city code. Your exact date of birth and
your profession. Once i got those informations i shall then ask my son to
meet with the lawyer to enable him prepare all the documents required for
the transaction on your behalf thereby making you the beneficairy of the
funds.

Thanks for the anticipated understanding and cooperations.

Expecting your urgent and positive response.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Rose Nkono
