"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

federal ministry of Health and the hospital management
board.

The federal ministry of health and the hospital management

awarded this contract in the year 2004 for building and
maintenance of all government public hospitals in the
federation.
This contract have been fully executed and commissioned and
full
payments made to the contractors.

We were able to over invoiced the contract sum to the tone
of
US$4.5million,this $4.5m is what we want to transfer abroad
with the co-operation of a reliable and a confident partner.

We the contract committee members have agreed that your
share of the
total amount $4.5m ,you will take $.5million as your share
while
us$4million will be shared amoung we the committee members.
I know that this proposal will look too good to be truth
based on the scam parading worldwide but you just have to
accept it in good faith and the modalities to transfer the
fund $4.5m have been perfected awaiting any account of your
choice.
