"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The British Gaming Board E-Lottery Programs.

Dear Kirstinn Pierce,

I send you compliments and greetings and thank you for your email. In response to your question, I want to confirm to you that the E-Lottery Promo is a new kind of Lottery Draw being introduced by the British Gaming Board. It is sponsored by international banks hence the source of the prizes.

With the E-Lottery Promo, participants are expected to enter their email address through an online programme hosted on the British Gaming Board’s website. The British Gaming Board’s website is presently being constructed and upgraded to support the E-promo programme. Therefore instead of purchasing paper tickets, winners will be expected to entire their email address online.

This is the first edition of the promo which is meant to be a test, and there shall be three more test editions. For these editions, email addresses entered for the promo will be electronically selected via the internet by the British Gaming Board. And after these editions, participants will be required to enter their email address individually online.

Therefore whether or not you shall accept your Lottery Prize depends on you. I can assure you however that if you chose to accept your Lottery Prize, I am here as your Claims Agent to help you receive your Lottery Prize.

I hope you understand the above. Kindly confirm receipt of my email.

Yours Sincerely.

Dr. Raymond James Mehta.
