"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Sheikh Mohammed Abdallah. Iam a native of Sudan but had been residing in Iraq since 1990. My Master-El Hadj Saloum Youssef, an Iraqi was closely related to Saddam Hussein and was involved in the Oil for Food programme where he made millions of dollars. He was however hunted down and was brutally assasinated by the American led Allied forces in 2004.I was under the protection of the British forces in Basra after his death. Luckily, l inherited a total sum of US$36,000,000.00(Thirty six million dollars)stacked neatly inside five boxes.

Fortunately, l was lucky to be one of those foreigners evacuated by the Allied forces late 2005 with all my personal effects intact. lam presently in London and had moved the boxes containing the funds to the vault of a Security Company in London for safe-keeping. Sir/Madam, because of my limited education, lam looking for a highly disciplined, responsible and forthright man or woman, who has knowledge of Investments either in Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Government stocks and bonds etc either in Europe, Asia or America. This is precisely why lam contacting you. The person shall take possession of the funds and Invest them profitably to the mutual benefit of both of us. For accepting the project at all, l agree to give you 20% of the total sum and thereafter, l agree to enter into a subsequent agreement to give you additional 20% of any returns on the invested funds.

You should be ready to assist me obtain a resident permit of the Country you choose to invest the funds through the lmmigration of such a Country to enable me come over and supervise the lnvestments. This aspect is very important to me because the funds in question is the last thing l have to show for so many years of servitude and sojourn in a foreign land ravaged by many years of war.
