"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Jane Dakoro, personal/private accounting officer to President Charles Taylor of Liberia. (former) My reason of writing you for assistance is to
support me in the moving out of (Abidjan) Cote'D Ivoire the sum
of (US$8,000,000.00) Eight Million United States Dollars, to your personal or company
account in your country. As the personal accountant to the president, I keep accounts of his private account/savings, which he has within the country.
The accounts are setup in my names for his confidentiality. When the war
started in the country where by the rebels wants to eliminate him and his
followers, I decided to relocate and save my life with my three little kids, being a widow, So I have
to withdraw this amount from the account to sustain my future living. With
the help of a friend of my late husband who is a flight officer, we manage to move the fund through
a diplomatic means out of Liberia to a security company in Cote'D Ivoire,
a neighbouring country to liberia
Presently, I am residing in Cote'D Ivoire as a refugee (asylum seekers)
with my family where the fund is presently deposited with a private Security and
Financial Company as consignment named family valuables. I did this to
secure the money, I couldn't even disclose the actual content deposited
because it was unsafe to do so and if the Security Company is aware that it
is money of such amount deposited with
them, I may loose it all.

I am willing to offer you 35% of the whole money for the inconveniences this
will cost you and for YOUR assiatnce to move this funds out of Cote d'Ivoire, while
5% for any expenses you might incure during the process of the transaction.
Then 60% will be for me, to setup a
profitable venture in your country with your advice and directions. Contact
me immediately via this email as above , indicating
your interest as soon as possible, on receiving of your acceptance, I shall
