Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

My name is Miss.Cynthia Reid, Am from Benin Republic, located in West
Africa. am 36years old, the only surviving daughter of Chief Joseph Reid ,
a popular Oil Merchandise in Africa, who died along side with some Oil
Marketers in a Ship Wreck that occurred between Bakasi Island and Atlantic
Ocean on June 13,2005.
However, before I proceed, I would want to use this opportunity to plead for
your indulgence,to read through the contents of this mail carefully,with
full understanding,so as
to have a natural reasoning towards ,the inhuman treatment I and My Mother
is subjected to,due to a Barbaric and Primitive Custom Practised in my
Country,and that is the reason why i proceeded into contacting you for your
Godly assistance below mentioned.
Subsequently,as an Oil Merchandise, my father was opportune to establish
numerous Investment Outfits, Basically in West Africa, and other African
Countries.
And these Investments includes Oil Farm, Cocoa Farm, Robber Farm ,and lastly
a Rice Processing Unit, all in Africa.

Moreover, he equally had various Landed and Housing Properties, all in
Africa.
Most importantly, my major aim of contacting you is nothing else, but a
Barbaric and Primitive Custom, that is predominant in my country, which is
really causing a lot of Commotion between me,my mother and my Father’s
Relations, concerning the inheritance of my Father’s Estate.

More precisely, under this Barbaric Custom, it is stipulated that a Female
Lady has no Traditional Right to inherit any portion of the Deceased
Estate, as my mother did not born a Male Child for my father, and for this
reason, my father Relatives have taken advantage of this and had completely
denied me and my mother of the Right to inherit the numerous Investment of
my late father.

However, it was last week, Tuesday that my father’s Legal Adviser and
Personal Secretary [Barr. Lawrence Okpeye] forwarded a Union Bank PLC,
Fixed Deposit Maturity Notification Report [FDMNR],which revealed that my
father made a fixed Deposit of [TWENTY FOUR MILLION USD] with the Bank on
12th January 2001,which was due for withdrawal.
The issue at stake now is I and My Mother have decided to make a Transfer
of this Fund to an international Account where we believe it will be safe
for a subsequent Investment ,because my fathers Relations can go extra
length to high jack this Fund if they get to know about it. So this is the
reason why,I humbly request for your urgent and Godly assistance to make a
Transfer of this Fund into your account ,where I believe it will be safe,
while I fly to the state immediately to negotiate for a profitable
Business Investment ,where I can Invest this Fund , because this is the
only hope we rely on now, and we cant afford to lose it to my father’s
Relations. And I want to assure you that your effort must be rewarded
,because I and my Mother had agreed forfeiting 30% for the Foreign
Assistance ,than loosing it all.

Conclusively, my Family Lawyer has assured providing all the necessary
Documents the Bank might require, so as to facilitate the immediate Transfer
of this Fund to an international account.
