Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

from a stranger, be rest assured as it comes with best intentions.
However your address was courtesy of the World on line. After due
consideration of your profile I became aware of your credibility of handling
this transaction. Thus it is my humble decis
ion to solicit your understanding and co-operation towards successful
completion of this transaction, as it will be beneficial to all of us
involved.
My name is MIKE Kabila from the DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO and I am
the first Son of the second wife of Laurent Kabila. As you know that my
father Laurent Kabila was the president of DRC who was assassinated by
his bodyguard on the 16th of January 200
1 who came the same country with us. My late father used his position
to make some fortune for himself and his children. I was studying
overseas when my father died and was forced to return for his burial. After
the burial the family started having prob
lems with us, which is phenomenal with polygamous families. He married
three wives and had ten children.

see me no more. The box contains US$25 MILLION (TWENTY FIVE MILLION
UNITED STATES DOLLARS). I deposited the said box in Accra-Ghana as
valuables. You have to go to my attorney and collect a letter containing all
you need to know about the consignment and
besides this, the consignment was deposited in your name and you alone
can claim it”.
