"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: For The Family

DEAR FRIEND,

My name is Stephanie Sam. Dokie Jr. I am the daughter of the Late Liberia
Black Berets leader. My father late Samuel Dokie died years back as a result
of conspiracy plot against him by Ex Barbaric Government of Charles Taylor

My family is compelled to contact you through me as a result of a business
relationship we wished to establish with you. Before my father died years
ago, he has acquired much wealth that was designed to stand as the family's
Legacy. Before he was assassinated, the barbaric government ceased most of
our wealth causing us to surfer for some years in Liberia. As God may have
it, we were not left with the sum of US$3.2million and 75kg of Alluvial Gold
my late father deposited with a security company sited in a Neighboring
Country. Before he was killed in a cool blood, he handed the all the
documents relating to the deposit to us. This wealth cannot be claimed
without fronting you as the trustee/heir to those fortunes

However, we have quickly contacted the Security Company and they will be in
the position to relocating the fortune to your custody through bank to bank
transfer or by shipment via Diplomatic Fiat. According to our resolution, we
shall enter into a lucrative business partnership with you on a well spelt
out condition.

If this business interests you, contact the bereaved family quickly so that
we can give further information on how to actualize this Rare Astute Life
Time Opportunity. If you have any comments as regard to this, feel free to
let us know through: stephanie_sam@walla.com

I am Truly Yours
Stephanie Sam Dokie
