"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: FROM MR PATRICK MUZAMBA (REPLY URGENT)

Good Day

Dear VICTIMNAME

Compliment of the day,

I receive your mail and your content was well understood concerning your
first question? All I need from you is to help me to transfer this fund into
your business account project for life investment venture,

Why I don’t want to choose a local person here in South Africa because of
our popularity at home we intend to keep ourselves to a very low profile in
such a way nobody will notice us until we finials the transaction.

Secondly we are not comfortable to deal with a local person here because we
are foreigner in this land as refugee also dealing with a local person here
might even kill us just because of the funds. So please kindly understand my
point because all our entire hope depends on this fund, beside we have a lot
of relatives that depend on us for their living.

Furthermore, all the arrangement has being concluded with a top banker
official who is working in the bank here in South Africa and he promised to
use his good position to commence the transfer without your present here in
South Africa.

Also I would like you to reply me urgent so that I can explain to you in
details regards the conclusion of the transaction and I keep everything
within me since we arriver here in south Africa so do follow us with the
same faith as we are,

Kindly call me as soon as you received my mail because I will be waiting for
your call for other discussion. +27-839-615-534

Extend my greeting to your family I hope to see them soon

Yours faithfully,

MR PATRICK AND JOY MUZAMBA.
