"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ATTENTION PLS.

Dear Sir,

This is an appeal for a oartnership and understanding. Pardon my approach to the issue I present to you. As the presiding personal Lawyer and close confidant to Late Mr. Morris Thompson (Nationalist of Alaska) a
member of my church who unfortunately lost his life in the plane crash of AlaskaAirlines Flight 261 which crashed on January 31 2000, including his
wife and only daughter.

I solemnly urge you to gives ears to what I have to say. Late Mr. Morris was a devoted Christian and philanthropist, a prominent native and business leader in Alaska who has lived several years of his life in our community; he loved the town well enough to call it home. You shall read more news about the crash on visiting this site whichI got during my investigation;

http://www.cnn.com/2000/US/02/01/alaska.airlines.list/ and
http://www.nativefederation.org/history/people/mThompson.html

Mr. Morris left a deposit of Treasure Trunk Box worth USD27,850M with a Natwest bank in London, and years after his death I am still saddled with the burden to produce his next of kin who will inadvertently inherit this money in London. (Attached is the bank’s last letter to this request.)With the decision of the bank to publicise search for his relatives, it is easy for the money to end up in wrong hands or lost to the bank forever.

This disturbing thought informed my decision to write you this letter, although I do not know you yet but I believe if I offer you a good part of this money we can work together receive it for you and the rest for the church. This I feel Morris will appreciate if he were to know.I have all documents to this deposit entrusted to me before his death but due to my status it is impossible for me to go for the claim. That is
why I am writing you this letter. IF YOU CAN STAND AS MR.MORRIS'S NEXT OF KIN, in less than 2 weeks the bank will release this money to you, and you return 60% to the church through the account I will give you. Though this transaction is simple and without risk to you, we might spend little money to achieve it. Nevertheless, expense will be reimbursed
before disbursement of money. If this appeals to you please write to me through e mail;- andrew_wright67@yahoo.co.uk .You can also reach me on phone-+447031970326

And I solemnly urge you also to disregard this mail if my proposition does not appeal to you.

Yours truly,
Andrew Wright
