"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear VICTIMNAME,

May almighty God bless you for your good reply. I want to assure you that there is absolutely no need for such worries.I came across your contact amongst others from the list of funds, which could not be transferred to some nominated accounts hence you must promise to give to charity here in WEST AFRICA US$500,000.00 which will be 100% dedicated to the motherless and fatherless babies. I am very please to announce to you that I have made all necessary governmental contact to obtain the necessary diplomatic consignment immunity documents inyour full name and address. These will prove beyond every reasonable doubt that the box carrying the money labelled as film and film chemical materials are yours.
Also, it will ensure that no custom or any security agents can search or attempt to vandalize the box anywhere, in your absence.

I have successfully concluded arrangement and the box (consignment) will be moved tomorrow morning to the courier company that will be practically responsible for the shipment to your address. Based on my dicussion with the management of the courier company, It will be required of you to send me the copy of your international passport or drivers license and address. which will be used for identification purpose at the point of delivery and you should clearly send your address where you want the consignment to be delivered. So, after the courier company concludes their administrative work, they will contact you to notify you of the shipment schedule and airwaybill and time of arrival in your country. The director of the courier company made me to know that the consignment should leave daka tomorrow night, so immediately the courier company contacts you, you should let me know I await your call immediately you receive this message.May God almighty see us through till the
consignment gets to you safely and may the peace of the lord be with you now and forever more. Amen. Thank you and remain blessed.

Yours Faithfully
