"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I receive your mail and appreciate your polite expression about what had happen to you, replying my letter indeed prove your ever ready to help us and inorder to make everything about this transfer of the claim transperent, i will like you to come to cote d'ivoire, i will give you all the concerning information about the money and the bank where the money was deposited and i will also take you to the bank for you to see things yourself, i must not fail to thank you enough for rebuilding my trust and confidents i repose to you and i belive you will handle it in such a way you handle your personal or family matter, as i am writing to you now; you must alawys remember that, we are part of your family and it is your responsibility to see to our welfare and also invest the money in such a way, we all will benefit from it. you may give me your number to call you for proper discussion and i promise you that you will get more than what you have lost in the past when this money is
transfer to your bank account on our behalf.
