"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I got your email contact through my personal search, you were revealed

being,quite astute in private Entrepreneurship, one has no doubt inyour
ability to handle a financial business transaction.
However,
My name is FUNSHO KUPOLKUN, I am the FORMER GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR for
Nigerian
National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC). I ve the confidence that you can be
of immense assistance to me in this business of mutual benefit.
I have the sum of of sixty five Million USD ($65million) deposited with
a
finance/security house. I wish to invest this money in your country;
hence I
am soliciting for your partnership in a joint venture.
You will travel to the fund base to meet the officials of the

formalities and be taken to their affiliate bank where the fund will be
handed over to you.

out through diplomatic courier using my official
Position. This is the only way we make good money
while in office.
