"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Amarjit, I received your kind mail and before i continue, i will like to inform you that, the proposal you have just received is nothing but a reality what is existing right now.

I have not contacted you to become your enemy or for us to betray ourselves in any way. I am a family man and i have my wife and my only child staying with me. I have been a staff of the ADB bank for 15 yrs now . My contacting you is not for anything bad but for us to work togeher as partners and to achieve a common goal if you will agree with me.

You may have been meeting with the wrong people in the past but, i want to assure you that this is not thesame. I will even like that you come over to my country if you so wish so that we could be familiar with each other because it's true that because of alot of atrocities going in the world people find it very difficult to believe each other most especially when it comes to money transaction.

I don't want you to be negative because this is an opportunity i feel we cannot miss but rather we should combine our effort, understanding, support and co-operation to achieve the best for ourselves.

I will be very happy to work with you and build a united partnership that could be helpful and useful for us, our families and relatives. Once you agree to go down with me on this transaction, i will forward to you a text form of Application which you are going to fill and send to the bank for prompt attention. We must do ourselves the favour of handling this transaction with UTMOST GOOD FAITH and be willing to invest what we have to make it a reality.

I will be waiting to hear from you soonest.

Yours Sincerely,
Garuba.
