"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Amarjit, pls I will personally like us to talk over the phone first/ur numbers needed urgently

My dear VICTIM-FULLNAME,
A very good day to you and how are you doing today?Fine I presume.Thank you very much for your kind and positive responce to my mail but I am really down with your past experience my dear Amarjit.

Sorry for bringing back bad old memories to you if I am going to do that by asking you how it really happened last year when you lost £2500 ($5000).I am really disgusteed with the way things are going in this life because I have managed to get an American Investor who came down here to South Africa personally for assisting me but at the hand I managed to get the revelation that the American Investor that came to assist was also trying to ran away with this total sum in question with my so called lawyer as well.

Now even as you wrote requesting that you don't want to get burnt again,Myself as well with my two children here in South Africa are asking you for such since we will NEVER want to encounter what we went through in Our Country before my husband was killed.Since every good modality is now on the desk towards a smooth and successful transfer of this fund to your RELIABLE exixting bank account,I will like us to have a conference meeting for now with my children via telephone.

NOTE AND VERY IMPORTANT:FOR NOW I WILL ADVICE YOU TO STOP IMMEDIATELY EVERY CORRESPONDENCE WITH ANY BARRISTER EZE,ANY BANK OR ANY ORGANISATION RELATING TO ANY FORM OF TRANSFER TILL AFTER OUR DISCUSSION ON THE PHONE.

Thanks for your understanding and co-operation while I await your immediate responce.Remain blessed.

Faithfully yours,
Marian Nkoma
