"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Thank you for your email to me, i am very happy to hear from you.
This is real. Please i want you to send me your number to call you so that both of us can hear from each other then i will send to you all the documents that were issued to my late father by Ghana Commerical Bank the time he deposited the money. From there you too can contact the bank Directly for guaidline on how you can help. I have been going to the bank but my late father left instructions with the bank that i must produce a foriegn beneficiary who will help me transfer the funds out side here. If you contact the bank tell the manager that you contacting them in respect of me Miss Rose Kome Daugether of late John Kome who deposited funds in thier bank, who made her daugether as the next of kin.

I have all the documents here with me and will send to you.
