"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

It might interest you to know that The Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company came into full working capacity during the current civilian dispensation at a working/asset capacity of USD3Billion and will definitely gulp more USD2Billion on the completion of the fifth part.
The money USD15.3M has been approved by this company NLNG, The Federal Ministry of Finance (Endorsed by the Accountant General of the Federation) and to be paid by the Apex Bank of Nigeria as payment for contract done under Contract Number NLNG/FGN/FMF/CBN/C987/04.
 
As top civil servants, we are not authorized to operate Foreign Bank account hence our decision to use your account on full trust and confidence to transfer this money outside Nigeria.
 
We have jointly agreed to transfer the funds into your account provided you will consent and prove that you can be trusted.I will regularize the approvals to reflect you as the contractor and beneficiary of the funds.
