"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Mrs Nenadi Esther Usman the newly appointed honourable Minister for finance Nigeria.I am writing to inform you that your payment file is right now on my table .After going through your file I discoverd that your payment has been approved months ago but yet not claimed.I am directed by the president to offset all outstanding debts owe to local and Foriegn contractors.

Please forward to me as a matter of urgency the following information to avoid wrong transfer of your funds to another person.

1.Your Name and Address.
1.Your Phone number(s)
3.Your Banking information
4.Your contract Amount
5.Your Contract Number.

As soon as I receive the above mentioned information I will proccess the release of your funds into your nominated bank account.Also,you should stop every communication with anybody as regard this transfer since there are many ilegal transfer of contract funds in this ministry which we are trying stop.
