"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Amarjit Singh

Thanks for the mail and content therein. As requested i wish to inform you that i don't do illegal dealings, because i have a complete document for my transaction, and it's intact with the finance company where the deposit took place.

At this juncture, it may interest you to know that the fund was deposited in a finance company in Europe that has correspondence banks in many places. Although you will be requested to sign as the authorized representative to collect my deposit, you know my position as the first lady and wife of the deceased former Nigerian Military Head of State, i do not embark on ilegal activities, the problem i have today is based on the misunderstanding between my late husband and the present Civilian President Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo as the current Nigerian Head Of states, because he was jailed by my husband, thereafter he happens to be elected,to compensate the southerners due to (Mr Abiola) who won the civilian election and was denied of it,thereafter the Military came again and killed him.

Ever since my husband died, i've been in house arrest, and not allowed to fly out of the country, just because the present regime hate my family and nothing more, i want you to really understand my problem and why i've contacted you. If i have the chance certainly i will fly to anywhere to secure my funds because i have diplomatic, but i can't do that while in the house arrest, also Gen.Obasanjo, is going about asking foreign banks whether i have deposits with them, presently he is giving out percentage to anyone that could help locate where we keep funds, at the moment we've lost over $2.8billion dollars in his hands, that why i'm being kept in here,so that he will use the opportunity to mess my family up and to seized all we've laboured for.

Please i want you to feel my pain and understand why i need your assistance to move my funds, as the finance company have all documents intact, and ready to transact legally with you.

Because of my situation, i can't posibily speak with you on the phone, that is why i have to hand over to my personal lawyer, so that you can speak freely with him on the telephone while i shall be following up through mail, because my telephone lines are being monitored. Please feel free to communicate my lawyer

Barrister Ahmed Obi at:

You may contact him immediately as i've already forwarded your message to him, although you didn't give your telephone number, address occupation and age?
