"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

rian first bank plc. Abidjan. I am writing following the impressive inf=
ormation about you, l got your contact in my quest for a reliable and c=
apable person to assist me in this deal, can i trust your capability an=
d reliability to champion this business opportunity. In my department,

I discovered an abandoned sum of U.S $11,5000,000m us dollars (eleven m=
illion five hundred thousand us dollars). In an account that belongs to=
one of our foreign customer who died in the world trade centre along w=
ith his entire family on 11 September 2001 in New York. Since we got in=
formation about his death, we have been expecting his next of kin to co=
me forward and claim his money because we cannot release it unless some=
body applies for it as next of kin or relation to the deceased as indic=
ated in our banking guidelines and policies but unfortunately we learnt=
that all his supposed next of kin or relation died alongside with him =
at ugly attack at the world trade centre leaving nobody behind for the =
claims. It is therefore upon this discovery that i have decided to make=
this business proposal to you to transact this deal with you and to ac=
t as the next of kin or relation to the deceased for safety and subsequ=
ent disbursement since nobody is coming forth and l don=92t want this m=
oney to go into the bank treasury as unclaimed bill.

According to our banking policies and guideline here, which stipulates =
that if such money remained unclaimed after six years, the money will a=
utomatically be transferred into the bank treasury as unclaimed fund.

My request for a foreigner to ac t as next of kin in this business is b=
y the fact that the customer was a
foreigner and a citizen of this country cannot stand or put claims as n=
ext of kin to a foreigner. L agreed
to offer 30% of the total fund to you, for your assistance, to act as t=
he next of kin to the
foreigner, to provide account, 10% will be for reimbursement of any exp=
enses incurred during the curse of the transaction.=20

There after, my family and I will visit your country for disbursement a=
nd for investment in your country. Therefore to enable the immediate tr=
ansfer of this fund to you as arranged, you must apply first to the ban=
k as relation or next of kin of the deceased indicating your bank name,=
your bank account number, your private telephone and fax number for ea=
sier and effective communication and location where the money will be t=
ransfer. Upon receipt of your reply, i will send to you by fax or email=
the text of the application. I will not fail to bring to your notice t=
hat this transaction is hitch free and that you should not entertain an=
y atom of fear, as all required arrangements have been made for the tra=
nsfer.=20

You should contact me immediately as soon as you receive through this m=
y alternative email account princebankole49@breakthru.com
