"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I will not hesistate to inform you that i am presently residing in a hidden hotel for the safety of my life. i have been going through a very difficult situation since my father died. i hope i can be able to trust you too. On my next mail, i will send you my photo and the contacts of the bank where my late father deposited this money so you can communicate with them and be informed on how this transfer can be made.

Mr Amarjit, you are the only one i am disclosing all this informations to and i want you to keep it that way as a secret between you and i until i come over to meet with you in the UK for the investment of the money and also to continue my education which is very important to me. It is my wish as soon as the money is transfered to come over immediately, i hope i can get a good scholl to continue my education in medicine?
